Poor performance at the Movies

I was right. I did get quite a bit done this morning. Instead, I was given 3 questions as a substitute for the test that were slightly more difficult than average, but obviously still at a Pre-Pre-Olympiad level. Here's one of them:

I'm supposed to cover Complex Numbers next, and also some Mechanics stuff. But...it's the weekend, so I think I may want to watch some movies later. The Oscars will be awarded soon, and I don't think I've seen any of the highly-acclaimed potential Best Picture winners yet. Let's have a look at the movies I saw in cinemas last year: Star Wars Episode III, Batman Begins, Harry Potter 4, King Kong and Narnia - all Blockbuster entertainment and not Oscar material (except for wardrobe, special effects, and a bunch of other awards that no one really pays attention to).Image Hosted by ImageShack.us The DVD movies that I watch seem to be of better calibre though...I still cannot believe Hotel Rwanda got snubbed at the Oscars last year.

This year Brokeback Mountain seems dead set at sweeping everything. Unfortunately, I won't get to watch it anytime soon...at least not legally anyway.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
